Bison-Tennial Public Art Project

In partnership with Indiana Association of United Ways and the Indiana Bicentennial Commission, Muncie Arts & Culture Council will be participating in the Bison-tennial Public Art Project, taking place across Indiana to celebrate Indiana’s 200th Statehood Day. This project will comprise of a 5-foot-tall fiberglass bison that will be decorated and displayed with at least one bison in each county along the Torch Relay route.

Muncie Arts & Culture Council is seeking professional or amateur artists, art classes, arts organizations and others to submit proposals to serve as the Bison-tennial Artist for Delaware County. Applicant will ideally reside in or have a connection to Delaware County.

The deadline for submissions is April 11, 2016 and all applications should be sent to info@munciearts.org. An artist will be selected by the MACC Public Art Committee and notified by May 13, 2016.
