Neighborhood Public Art Projects
Are you a member of a Muncie neighborhood that would like to implement a new public art project and would like some assistance? We are here to help!
All projects will be developed in consultation with communities and neighborhoods where the projects will be installed. Local, Regional, and National artists will be selected through public open Requests for Qualifications.
BOX! BOX!
Box! Box! is a public painting project that encourages bold designs and promotes engagement and interaction between local artists and the wider community. Since 2018, over 70 traffic signal control boxes throughout the city have been transformed with original works of art!

Public Art Tour
MuncieArts recently unveiled eight new engaging works of public art across the city. These murals, sculptures, and interactive environments were designed for and with the neighborhoods they help beautify to tell local stories and invite neighborly connection.
