Statement: The art community in Muncie is a creative hub of talented people. When considering the design for this project, I decided to focus on creativity. My love of art is something I wish to share with everyone! I believe that you can not create art without some sort of creativity. Tapping into your own imagination is what drives that creativity.

As the world progresses forward, many people have failed to keep their imagination and creativity skills. Both of these are an essential part of human nature, and should not be neglected. Encouraging others and creating a new generation that is artsy and imaginative is very important. The presence of art can bring much joy to those who actually take time to appreciate it. The goal behind this painting is to remind people to always stay creative.

Bio: Tamara Harris is a recent Ball State grad. Drawing, with a minor in Creative Writing, was her degree of choice. Her favorite form of art is drawing, but she often uses other media such as paint, printmaking, and crochet. Art became her favorite way to express herself at a young age. She enjoys using her skills to create art that inspires, and engages the viewer. When she isn’t working on a new art project, she is most likely reading or writing.
