Project Title: Uncontained

Location: Broadway and Riggin Road

Statement: I'd like to feature art and Muncie together. To do this I have painted a "spilling bucket" with rainbow paint pouring out. On the front of this design I have featured a 'post-card' style saying "Greetings from Muncie. The "spill" wraps and continues down the sides of the box and the back features a light purple/blue galaxy theme. Just to show art can’t really be contained and is all around us.

Bio: My name is Barbie. I moved to Muncie in 2008 and loved it so much I never left. I graduated from BSU in 2012 with a degree in Telecommunication, with a focus on Emerging Media. I’ve always been passionate about art and design and paint both digitally and on traditional canvas. I've done several paintings, both on commission and to donate. I do participate in Muncie Yart and have found great friends within the art community. I would like the opportunity to paint a traffic box and give back, really just manifest what Muncie and art both mean to me.
